Hello, lovely, peeps, Doris here.
This is only a short post because I’m in the middle of writing a shifter story, with another one burning to be written.
I tell you, those shifters, demanding so and so’s. Not that I am complaining, no Sirree, not one little bit.
I’ve been struggling with feeling inspired to write for a while now. I started one story, ground to a halt, picked up an old WIP, added a bit, ground to a halt and so on. You get the picture.
Writing like that is hard work, at least it is for me. I write best when I have a demanding hero breathing over my shoulder, and even better when I have some visual inspiration. With that in mind I started with my weekly flashes on my blog again, and wouldn’t you know it, it worked.
So, I’m going to close with a few pictures which have truly inspired my current shifter stories.
Meet Raphael, Alpha of his pack, who has his mate stumble upon him, literally.
Darius, a bear shifter, who meets his mate in a coffee shop, of all places
And Stephan…battle weary polar bear shifter, whose mate coaxes him out of hiding
That’s all from me today. What inspires you, folks? Whatever it is, make sure you nurture it and listen to your muse when she sparks.
That’s when fingers fly.
Do stay naughty, folks,
