Lucasfilm putting Star Wars movies ‘on hiatus’ after Rise of Skywalker

We even see it in other single-player games now, where some content (usually just cosmetic) is locked behind loot crates. Nothing really is given away that we didn't already know, but it does look cool.

"The movie doesn't pick up immediately after the last film - some time has gone by", said Abrams at the Star Wars Celebration event.

When the trailer was unveiled at Star Wars Celebration in Chicago, Respawn developer Stig Asmussen said that "many Star Wars fans, ourselves included, are really interested in the dark times, so we wanted to explore that mysterious, risky period".

"This is a Jedi fantasy story game", Respawn's Vince Zampella said. He happens to be white, and a number of fans weren't taking it too kindly. Respawn showed off Fallen Order's first trailer during the trailer, which introduces the game's story and its protagonist, Cal Kestis.

Players will find themselves in the body of Cal Kestis, one of the only Padawans to have survived the famous Order 66.

According to a recent leak via Reddit, the hotly-anticipated Star Wars title is being pegged for November which would make sense, considering EA's previous track record. This is most likely about the different handles and colors of the blade - in most games of the universe, the blade could change the way the game was played.

Brexit secretary doesn't see need for long extension
Wednesday's summing comes after MPs voted by 420-110 to approve a motion to seek an Article 50 extension and delay the date of Brexit to 30 June.

The drawback is how much this looks and feels like a reboot of The Force Unleashed. Instead, it was all the Respawn development team, as well as those from Lucasfilm who contributed to the story. Besides the fact that the game won't be a third Battlefront, EA had the good sense to join forces with Respawn again.

Although no gameplay footage is shown we do get a few glimpses about what we might expect when it launches November 15 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Neither multiplayer nor microtransaction will be present in the game.

George Lucas involvement in the Star Wars films has been remote ever since he sold Lucasfilm to Disney back in 2012.

You also need to consider some of the creative talent working on the project, Stig Asmussen being a name many God of War fans are familiar with.
