Dirk Nowitzki announces his retirement after 21 seasons with the Dallas Mavericks

As Dirk Nowitzki played his final game for the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center, the spotlight was rightfully so, on the German. He played 31 minutes after playing 32 on Tuesday night against Phoenix. They both scored over 20 points in their games, but the Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks were unable to win their games.

With less than a minute left in the game and the Spurs leading by 15 points, Nowitzki held possession at the top of the Spurs' key.

The Mavericks have one game remaining on their schedule against the Spurs in San Antonio. Cuban's entire tenure as the team's owner featured Nowitzki as a pivotal part, and to finally part ways after such a long and meaningful ride together will definitely bring a tear to anyone's eye.

It was only fitting that Nowitzki's final shot came against the San Antonio Spurs, a team he terrorized in the regular season and postseason.

If the Spurs beat Dallas on Wednesday, head coach Gregg Popovich will tie Lenny Wilkens for the most total wins - regular season and playoffs - by any coach in National Basketball Association history.

Samsung has not yet revealed pricing or availability, but the phone does appear to be now targeted to Asian markets. The Galaxy A80 is powered by an Octa-Core 2.2GHz Dual + 1.8GHz Hexa processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

"The only guy that was missing was MJ", Nowitzki said, referring to Michael Jordan - the player he passed to become the oldest to score at least 30 in a game.

The 40-year-old was a first-round draft pick by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1998 NBA Draft. Before the game, Dirk was overcome with emotion as he balled his eyes out during his introduction. "But as you guys might expect, this is my last home game".

After returning from his ankle injury, Nowitzki notched career lows this season in most major categories. "Hopefully, I got a good photo op".

He's the only rookie and just one of four players in the league to average at least 20 points, seven rebounds and six assists per game this season.
