Lakers Sunk by Late Knicks Run

LeBron James was asked what the Los Angeles Lakers' message to pending free agents will be this offseason. "In the public you got to be a part pf the team". The Lakers fell to 31-39 and are now 11th in the Western Conference.

LeBron was blocked on a last-second attempt to win the game, which dashed the Lakers' hopes of picking up the W. To make matters worse, LeBron shot 4 for 15 from the field during the fourth quarter, which was one of the worst quarters of his career.

Rather than add another game-winner to his already robust collection, LeBron James' fadeaway was stopped by the right hand of Mario Hezonja, whose block sealed a stunning 124-123 NY victory.

"We couldn't close out possessions and we couldn't get enough timely buckets on the other end", James said.

Hezonja, who is not known for his defensive ability, acknowledged what he was up against as James attempted a game-winning turn-around jumper.

President Trump tags OANN on released Peter Strzok testimony
Both Page and Strzok no longer work at the FBI - Page resigned and Strzok was sacked . Strzok said he believed that to be the case.

As Hezonja said, James is still one of the most un-guardable players in the National Basketball Association, but you can't focus on that when you're on the floor at the time.

James said after the loss that he saw "no difference" between the woeful Knicks and his own squad, calling them "two teams out of the postseason", and adding, "We could have a couple of more wins than them, but both teams right now are looking on the outside looking in". His teammates are now just openly ignoring him, and that comes after there was a report the team actually considered trading their star. But you have to exude that type of togetherness in public, folks. "But we have an opportunity to get better".

However the Lakers gradually chipped away at the Knicks' early lead and had pulled clear late in the fourth quarter when a James jumper made it 122-111 with 3:45 remaining.

Kevin Knox had an impressive 19 points and 6 rebounds, and more importantly, did it efficiently off of 8-for-14 shooting. So when you're the King and LeBron is the King and the best player in the game, you can't be like a common player.
