Steelers reportedly insisting on first-round pick for Antonio Brown

Disgruntled wide receiver Antonio Brown and the Steelers have agreed it is time to part ways and Pittsburgh will look to deal the six-time Pro Bowler this offseason. Brown is due a roster bonus on March 17, a date many have set as an informal deadline for a Brown trade.

General manager Kevin Colbert reportedly offered a last call on Wednesday for Brown, a tactic often used in major trades in the hope of pulling in the last, best offer from any suitor.

Antonio Brown's antics in Pittsburgh have mst certainly scared off potential suitors who don't want to deal with the extra stuff that comes with his enormous talent, but it hasn't for the Oakland Raiders. The embattled wideout remains one of the best receivers in the game, but his numbers could easily dip with a new team. The Cardinals have "no interest" in Brown, according to Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic. Brown's conversation with James marked his first extended public comments since requesting a trade last month. With no second-round pick to work with, the Jets just may not have had the draft capital or the desire to get a deal done.
