Ariana Grande drops album amid Grammys spat

The exact nature of the dispute is still not clear, but Variety reports that Grande wanted to perform her latest single "7 Rings", which the Recording Academy rejected.

In another tweet Thursday, Grande said she "offered 3 different songs".

She did receive two nominations in the pop categories, however: Grande's album Sweetener is up for best pop vocal album, while the sultry jam God is a Woman is nominated for best pop solo performance.

Grammys chief Ken Ehrlich revealed he was engaged in promising talks with the star which collapsed at the last second.

"I've kept my mouth shut but now you're lying about me", she wrote in a Twitter thread.

Grande is firing back at the assertion on Twitter calling his statement a lie.

Having entered F1 in late-2017 with the junior team, Gasly's only race experience in F1 comes with the Italian outfit. Red Bull's second team will be the first to reveal next week, and the big news is Daniil Kvyat's Lazarus act.

Grande claims she pulled out of performing at the Grammy awards because her "creativity and self expression was stifled" by the producers. "I hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more", she added. The girlfriend, a ponytail-wearing brunette, bears a striking resemblance to Grande, who is blond when she meets the couple but transforms into her trademark ponytail when she attends a party hosted by her new acquaintances.

And if that wasn't enough to please her fans, it seems the 25-year-old has gone the extra mile by dropping a music video for her new hit Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored.

In her own words, Ariana says the song is about "being in love w a version of somebody you've created in your head. falling for someone that they are not". Even though she's not going to the Grammys this year, we think she'll be just fine.

When asked on Twitter if she'd be performing the song anytime soon she admitted the song is now not on the set list for her upcoming tour as she now can't make it through the song without crying.

Rumour has it Grande is already working on a new album - or at least she's writing songs that might just end up on one. "It's about art and honesty", Ariana said.

Still, the clip, created by 'thank u, next' director Hannah Lux Davis, takes an unexpected turn in the final moments, where we discover who the actual object of her desire is... The chorus of the song goes "I know that it breaks your heart when I cry again/ Over him/ I know that it breaks your heart when I cry again/ Instead of ghostin' him".
