Kyrie Irving Trade Possibilities Flying After His Comments Friday Morning

Irving is now in Boston, while James has made his way to the Los Angeles Lakers.

However, a more surprising name has entered the discussion to give the Lakers a third superstar and arguably the most talented super team of all-time.

Nonetheless, there is no mistaking how this information has spread throughout the league despite Irving's strong statements to the contrary.

While the latest report indicates that the Celtics aren't anxious at all about Irving leaving town, there are plenty of other reports that indicate otherwise. "And he has stated to his National Basketball Association peers a confidence that any player with Boston doubts will be won over once he gets here and sees the roster, coaches and organization".

When questioned Friday by reporters about his future with the Celtics, Irving replied, "Ask me July 1". But if Irving's commitment isn't rock solid, things get complicated.

Bradley Cooper surprises fans at Lady Gaga's Vegas show with duet
Going by the crowd reaction, you've got to imagine that a possible tour has been floated for Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga . The pair are expected to reunite to perform the song at the Academy Awards ceremony on February 25 (New Zealand time).

Davis Sr. clarified that those opinions were his, and did not reflect how his son felt about the Celtics.

Per Bulpett, Celtics sources instead believe Irving will opt out of his contract at the end of the season and re-sign a longer and richer deal than he could receive elsewhere.

While it is premature to suggest Irving and Davis could join LeBron in California, the Lakers are acutely aware of the need to add another All-Star alongside the 34-year-old. League sources believe they have "a strong chance" of luring Durant should he leave the Golden State Warriors this summer and that Davis is "open" to NY as a landing place as well.

"GM Danny Ainge is undeterred on making a trade for Davis, even without an assurance that Davis would agree to an extension with the Celtics", according to ESPN. It seems New Orleans might be content to wait on Boston to be able to make an offer, but that offer wouldn't have to wait until summer if Irving was moved. Despite the record, they are starting to look like the potent contender they were predicted to be at the start of the season. The Celtics have been rumored to be interested in acquiring the center for a while.
