The 24-year-old is renowned for his slick passing and ability to dictate play, making him a natural replacement for midfield maestro Fabregas.
"In my opinion, he's a player who would fit in well at our club".
"At the moment Morata is here, so I think he has to think only to play".
Sarri added that Hudson-Odoi need to improve his off-ball movement.
"He is one of the best (young players) in Europe, " Robben told beIN Sports.
If you'd asked Maurizio Sarri a month ago whether he wanted to keep Cesc Fabregas at the club, there's no doubting he would have said yes. I am very happy with the player, because he's improving a lot, I think, in the defensive phase.
"He is really very important".
Hudson-Odoi started in the FA Cup tie versus Nottingham Forest recently as well as the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against Tottenham but he was only on the bench against Newcastle in the Premier League. The Blues have to hand it to Pedro and Willian scoring the goals for them, but for sure, it was not at all a very good performance from them and it's not the first time that this has happened.
Higuain poised to complete Chelsea move
After the stalemate draw against Southampton, it seems Sarri desperately want a striker in the January transfer window. Sarri has not lost his desire to sign Higuain and it is claimed the Argentine has given the green light to the move.
"We need to learn to attack the spaces, to attack the box with other players".
Lampard has admired Hudson-Odoi's performances from afar and hopes the England Under-19 worldwide is still a Chelsea player when the January transfer window closes. "You are better off getting your chance and if you get that chance then you have to take it".
That man is Jadon Sancho and he is trying to persuade his friend Hudson-Odoi to follow suit.
Willian is 2/1 with Ladbrokes to make the move to Barcelona.
Chelsea are actually yet to make a firm contract offer to Hudson-Odoi, as most discussions so far have centred on whether the club can persuade the player to remain in London.
Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi will refuse to sign a new deal at the club and he is prepared to run his contract down and quit Stamford Bridge for next to nothing if the hierarchy continue to block his move to Germany.
Hudson-Odoi is available to face Newcastle in the Premier League on Saturday, but Sarri said he would monitor the 18-year-old's condition after noticing fatigue this week.
