In a weird turn of events, Real Madrid have been offered the chance to sign Nabil Fekir in January, according to Spanish publication Marca.

Fekir was close to joining Liverpool in the summer after a £53 million fee was agreed with Lyon. But, the Frenchman reportedly failed his medical and the move henceforth, broke down.

With 7 goals and 4 assists in all competitions so far, the interest in his services is starting to pick up once again.

Olympique Lyon management are concerned over Nabil Fekir's stand regarding new contract talks.

Would you like to see Fekir at Real in the future?

Chelsea has struggled to finish this season, evident in their 1-0 loss to Leicester City over the weekend where Marcos Alonso and Eden Hazard both found the woodwork on simple opportunities to finish.

Praying for a move? Fekir played a part in France's World Cup win and would be an excellent addition to this Chelsea team.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, have been doing well under Santiago Solari.

Club president Jean-Michel Aulas is said to have resigned himself to losing the French playmaker, with interest beginning to rise.

Fekir would give Chelsea a quality attacking midfielder who is versatile in many ways as I mentioned above.

Milan remain interested in midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who is also a target of Monaco, although the Italian club's Financial Fair Play problems complicate matters.
