Hillsborough transit authority releases service plans for Christmas, New Year's

With Christmas nearly upon us, here is a quick rundown on what's going to be open and closed around the holidays.

For that last minute bottle of wine, the LCBO is open on Christmas Eve until 6 p.m., but most stores are closed after that until December 27.

The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit authority has announced its service plans for Christmas Day and New Year's Day. It will be open on December 26 from 10 a.m.to 6 p.m.

City of Salina offices are scheduled to be closed Monday and Tuesday. Royal City Brewing will also open at 10 a.m. on both days.

The foreign ministry statement was released under the name of the policy research director of the Institute for American Studies. At a historic summit in Singapore in June, Trump and Kim signed a vaguely-worded statement on denuclearisation.

Government offices are closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day (Dec. 25 and January 1) statewide.

Dixon's Distilled Spirits on Elmira Road will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The Centennial Arena will be open on Christmas Eve, but the swimming pool will be closed.

The Municipal Works Office, the Environmental Utilities Office, the Veiner Centre, the Kinplex, the Crestwood Rec Centre and the city landfill will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, before reopening on Wednesday.

There will be no waste collection on Christmas Day and service will be delayed one day all week. On Boxing Day, GO Transit will operate under its Saturday service hours.
