Parts of the video, including a feisty cheerleading battle and an emotional dollhouse scene, harken back to other big-screen teen classics Bring It On and 13 Going on 30.

Inspired by Mean Girls, Bring It On, Suddenly 30 and Legally Blonde, Grande channels some of the most iconic scenes from the biggest female-driven films of the early 2000s.

And when that video finally dropped today, she did not disappoint.

Multiple actors from the original movies popped into the video, reprising their roles, as well as Kris Jenner taking the role of Amy Poehler in Mean Girls as the "cool mom".

In the song, Ariana also mentions her ex Mac Miller, but fans pointed out the fact that he didn't get a page in her "Burn Book".

The Mean Girls have made their comeback, and it was probably a Wednesday.

Grande portrays the legendary Regina George (played by Rachel McAdams in the OG), and gets the same introduction from her schoolmates that Regina got in the movie! Witherspoon tweeted to say she "nailed it".
