Lakers and LeBron sink to woeful National Basketball Association lows

Lakers president of basketball operations Magic Johnson reiterated Los Angeles wants to continue limiting LeBron James' minutes, but he explained the reason behind that is because the organization doesn't want to make some of the same mistakes Cleveland made with the usage of the 33-year-old.

JaVale McGee has been one of the most consistent players for the Los Angeles Lakers for the first quarter of the National Basketball Association season. It can't be because you want to pass it around, you get into your pick-and-roll plays.

The Los Angeles Lakers, who have dropped their two straight games, brought in two-time Oscar victor Denzel Washington in to give them a pep talk on Wednesday... and apparently he didn't disappoint.

James added nine rebounds and seven assists in his first game since scoring a season-low 14 points in the Lakers' loss at Denver. "Those guys have the ability to make plays as well".

"I've always said that in January we will look better and I still think that is going to happen".

Georgia enters field, Oklahoma stays ahead of Ohio State
Even if Dwayne Haskins Jr. never plays another down for Ohio State his name will live in Buckeyes lore. It's not the first time Brady has had to wear an Ohio State jersey in Foxborough.

LeBron James is still operating at a remarkably high level, even after more than 15 years in the National Basketball Association.

The Lakers have now lost back-to-back games while Denver have won four in a row.

To be perfectly clear: Lonzo Ball said he will play Thursday when the Lakers host Indiana.

James' Cleveland Cavaliers eliminated the Pacers from the playoffs in each of the past two seasons, going to seven games in the opening round a year ago.

Dallas had a strong start to the game and led 32-22 at the end of the first. The Indiana star could go through a full practice Friday. But hey, we're the Lakers. In comparison, James averaged 36.9 minutes last season while playing in all 82 games for the first time in his career.
