The filmmakers were heartened by the fact that steely Supreme Court justice didn't initially realize she needed medical assistance.

She fell in her office on Wednesday and, after an uncomfortable night, checked into a local hospital Thursday, where tests found she had cracked three ribs on her left side. Ginsburg also broke two ribs in 2012 but did not miss work, the New York Times reports.

Ginsburg said in July she hopes to stay on the bench past 2020.
