Alvaro Morata, David Luiz, Antonio Rudiger and Marcos Alonso were all rested from Thursday's Europa League trip to BATE Borisov in Belarus and could return to Chelsea's starting line-up.

It could be a record unbeaten Premier League start for Maurizio Sarri.

"I don't think it (the reception) will be the best", he said in the London Evening Standard.

But Sarri's men were much improved after the break and Giroud, who also scored twice for Arsenal against BATE in the Europa League last term, broke the deadlock by meeting left-back Emerson's cross with a firm downward header.

'I did my homework and analysed all the players last season, ' said Silva.

With his contract winding down, Barkley had initially been linked with Tottenham before the Chelsea switch and his desire to further his career away from Everton, combined with the protracted nature of the transfer, soured his time with Toffees fans. Hazard has now contributed to 11 goals in his last 11 appearances for the Blues, with his staggering start to the season showing no signs of slowing down.

Deputies also recovered a shovel and broom used to bury Cleavenger and straighten up the scene around the fire pit. Officials said he later confessed to the killing of his mother and implicated his friends.

Yerry Mina has revealed how Marco Silva played a key role in his move to Everton and why he is "very happy" with his decision.

Richarlison is a doubt for tomorrow's visit to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea after failing to complete the final training session before the weekend, but will be doing everything he can to be ready to play.

"There's no end to the money Chelsea have got so they shouldn't be buying players like Giroud and Morata".

The England global has become a regular under Sarri, scoring three goals in his last five Chelsea appearances.

"I guess when I am on the floor I can win free-kicks, so every free-kick is a chance to score more goals". We defended very well and they defended cohesively so it was hard to find solutions at times and stop them on the break. My mum told me at the time she wasn't sure about me getting them and that I rushed into them - and she still says that to this day. I want to see our team to be ourselves. At the end they can come in on loan and it is important than when you have loan players you know them well and their personality and character.

Despite a lack of goals from Giroud this season, the forward has been massively important for the Blues for his work in creating goals.
