Hulk Hogan Returns to WWE Ring in Saudi Arabia

At least WWE fans have one positive thing to look forward to: Brock Lesnar being Universal Champion again, after defeating Braun Strowman easily in about two minutes. There have been reports of Michaels vs. Taker at WWE Survivor Series later this month and then a match with another Superstar at WrestleMania 35 in April.

As yet, Lesnar is still contracted to WWE despite rumours linking him to a heavyweight showdown with UFC Champion Daniel Cormier.

Lesnar's performance-enhancing drug suspension will officially be over on January 8, 2019.

But clearly plans have been altered backstage in order for Lesnar to be crowned champion - and it all stems back to Roman Reigns.

The company earlier confirmed to The Verge that it will fix the over-smoothing effect in selfies deemed as "Beautygate" by many. A few of my personal favorites include the new partying face, smiling face with hearts, cold face, and pleading face.

Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that original plans called for Roman Reigns to retain the title, and Brock Lesnar was supposed to finish up his contractual obligations with WWE at the event.

However once Reigns revealed that his Leukemia had returned, McMahon had to scramble for new plans for the belt.

If you're wondering if Brock's second run with the Universal Championship will see him popping up on WWE television more often than the first, of course it won't.

The new deal isn't exclusive either, meaning he can hop over to the world of MMA whenever he feels like it. If nothing else there is now a chance that Brock Lesnar holds the WWE's most prestigious title when he returns to the UFC.
