Display fingerprint sensor, dewdrop notch and more to expect

We already know some of the upgrades which the company is bringing with the OnePlus 6T, but this leak has revealed a few more new features which we haven't heard before.

Welcome to TechRadar's latest OnePlus launch live blog. The OnePlus 6T is the successor to the OnePlus 6 launched in May of this year. As expected, the tickets sold out in mere seconds. Everything kicks off at 3pm this afternoon, which is 11am New York Time.

Of course, the OnePlus 6T - which will be presented earlier than planned to avoid Apple - will rest primarily on its functions. This mid-cycle flagship will succeed the existing flagship from the company, the OnePlus 6. According to the "leak", the OnePLus 6T will apparently run Android 9.0 Pie. However, several important aspects of the latest OnePlus smartphone have surfaced online. The launch event is scheduled to start at 11AM EDT (or 8.30PM IST) in NY. We saw retail box reveals, E-commerce site mentions, official teasers and what not. Interested buyers can watch the launch event live.

Russian Federation says USA is increasing nukes in military planning
Countries around the globe urged the U.S.to stay in the three-decade-old arms control treaty with Russian Federation . Russian Federation however has warned that abandoning the agreement would be a major blow to global security.

Oh my god. We are freaking out right now. On the front, the OnePlus 6T is listed with 20MP selfie shooter.

Agarwal also added three OnePlus 6T promo images to the tweet which show that OnePlus is focusing their advertisement efforts on the in-display fingerprint sensor, the device's thin-bezel-small-notch design and performance. It could launch in two memory configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. Since there is no visible rear-facing fingerprint reader, it will obviously be present inside the display of the OnePlus 6T. The device is said to come with a 3,700mAh battery which supports its own DASH fast charging via USB-C. On top of everything, the OnePlus 6T will not include a 3.5mm headphone jack, unlike the OnePlus 6, and that may be an issue for some people, so we'll see how well will the OnePlus 6T sell once it arrives. So, it will help users to easily unlock the device. Following a plethora of teasers, the OnePlus' mid-cycle refresh is set to be revealed at the launch event that will be held in NY. The smartphone was recently spotted on Geekbench website ahead its official launch.
