Comparing the 2019 Cleveland Cavaliers to the LeBron-less 2011 Cavs

In somewhat of a shocker, the Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to terms to bring in veteran point guard Rajon Rondo on a one-year, $9 million contract, per Yahoo!

LeBron James in Game Four of the 2018 NBA Finals at Quicken Loans Arena on June 8, 2018 in Cleveland. The same can be said about McGee, Caldwell-Pope and Stephenson's respective contracts but it does seem as though the Lakers paid a premium on players that other teams weren't bending over backward to sign. During the past NBA Playoffs, James surpassed center Kareem Abdul Jabbar's record as most postseason field goals.

Although there were suggestions of installing a Browns-related image after James's move was announced, another team in town got a little salty about being overlooked. The Golden State Warriors have always been a bitter rival of the Log Angeles Lakers and for the latter, this is the time to prove just how much more stronger they are.

"LeBron, you came home and delivered the ultimate goal", Gilbert said in a statement. LeBron, in a very real sense, is Magic for this millennium: A man who made his name in sports but whose creativity and curiosity, intellect and drive have reached far beyond lines on hardwood floors.

Unless he is traded, Lonzo Ball will be teammates with LeBron James next season. The Lakers may not win the championship this year but they will be challenging the (overpowered) Warriors who now have 5 All-Stars in their team after signing DeMarcus Cousins from the Pelicans. Many NBA fans might remember the iconic highlight of Stephenson blowing into James' ear during the 2014 Eastern Conference Finals.

Belgium star breaks another record in Russian Federation
Lukaku now has four goals in just two World Cup appearances in Russian Federation this summer. The winning team has now scored eight goals in two games, as CGTN's Dan Williams reports.

Furthermore, it was only a year ago that Kyrie Irving demanded to be traded out of Cleveland to become the main attraction in Boston.

However, unlike the team that LeBron joined in Cleveland, there is now no Kyrie Irving on the Lakers. As we saw with Paul George and the Oklahoma City Thunder, there is value in making a deal for a star player before he hits the free agent market.

However, there is no guarantee any of them will join LeBron in the City of Angels next year.

In a new look inside the Lakers' post-LeBron moves, Brian Windhorst of ESPN explains that LBJ and Magic Johnson met on the first night of free agency and reviewed the Lakers' plans.

The best player of his generation might no longer be the best recruiter in the league.
