Decently Rough - Tottenham Hotspur Fans React To Premier League Fixtures

New Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been handed a daunting start to life in the Premier League as he begins with back-to-back matches against Manchester City and Chelsea.

Emery has succeeded Arsene Wenger, who left Arsenal after 22 years in charge.

After the opening-weekend game at Etihad Stadium, the Gunners travel to fellow top-six contenders Chelsea.

And with the new Premier League fixture list - which you can see in full here - also showing Arsenal heading to Chelsea on matchday two, the former PSG boss clearly has his work cut out if he is to hit the ground running.

Meanwhile, some Spurs supporters were frustrated after discovering that their first home game at their new stadium will not take place until the middle of September.

Wolves, who won the Championship by nine points, follow the visit of Everton with a trip to 2016-17 champions Leicester, and visit Liverpool on the final day of the campaign.

The first Manchester derby (City at home) is on November 10th.

Golden Knights go out valiantly in Stanley Cup loss to Capitals
After dropping game one 6-4 against the Golden Knights, the Caps rallied, turned the corner and never looked back. Reilly Smith led the Golden Knights with a power play goal, his fifth of the playoffs, and an assist.

"We had always meant to request a few games away at the start of the season".

Jurgen Klopp's side visit Old Trafford on February 23.

With the last two meetings between English football's two biggest clubs at Anfield ending in dismal 0-0 draws, it is to be hoped that December's clash on Merseyside produces more drama and goals.

Liverpool will play Southampton, Man City, Cardiff, Fulham, Everton and - in a particularly ironic twist - Man United at home in the domestic games directly proceeding Champions League nights.

Tottenham is scheduled to play Fulham at home on the second weekend but it is still unclear if the match will be at the club's temporary home of Wembley Stadium, which it is using while White Hart Lane is being rebuilt.

We are still unsure about which players are coming in or who our manager would be.

The 2016-17 champions open up with a trip to Huddersfield Town and then face Newcastle, Bournemouth, Cardiff and West Ham in quick succession after hosting Arsenal.
