Dennis Rodman Breaks Down While Discussing North Korea Summit

Former basketball star Dennis Rodman has broken down in tears over the Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un summit, recalling his own meeting with the North Korean leader.

"Obama didn't even give me the time of day", Rodman said. I asked him, I said, 'I have something to say from North Korea and he just brushed me off.

Not everyone was happy with Rodman getting so much air time around the event. "He wants his people to enjoy their life", Rodman said.

"I just felt like I fell in love with the country from day one", Rodman said. "I was sitting up protecting everything", said Rodman.

Rodman most recently traveled to North Korea a year ago as a private citizen.

He also revealed that a White House staffer called him to say Mr Trump was proud of him.

However, Greenpeace applauded companies which were beginning to eliminate single-use plastics from their shelves and checkouts. On the World Environment Day, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said "Reject single-use plastic".

"Kim Jong Un is not a dumb man", Rodman, one of the only Americans to have built a relationship with Kim, stressed. "All of these years, I somehow had something to do with this North Korea situation, but I don't want to take credit", he continued. I couldn't even go home, for thirty days. As the interview descended further into farce, and Rodman plugged the brand of cryptocurrency funding his trip to Singapore, the internet kicked the mirth machine into high gear.
