For one thing, the BlackBerry Key2 apparently has a dual-lens rear camera, comprising a 12MP f/1.8 lens and a 12MP f/2.6 one.
BlackBerry has confirmed this by sending out official invites for the unveiling of BlackBerry KEY2. It will come with a screen resolution of 1080×1620 pixel and a 3:2 aspect ratio. Meanwhile, around front there is an 8MP camera.
From the images, we can see that the handset will feature a square-ish screen design as opposed to the elongated screens that are prevalent on smartphones in the market everywhere.
China lashes out at 'reckless' U.S. on trade
Asian equities slid Wednesday as the renewed tension over trade added to concerns over Italy's political turmoil for investors. The mixed messages also weaken the USA position by reducing opportunities for cooperation, Levy said.
And last but not least from Twitter again, BlackBerry's anticipated Key2 premium Android smartphone is launching on June 7. The manufacturer of the phone, TCL, has upgraded the Key 2 to a Snapdragon 660 from the Snapdragon 625 processor. The new BlackBerry model, which will be the successor to the BlackBerry KEYone, appeared on Geekbench in the past that highlighted its benchmark results. Recently, BlackBerry had already released a teaser where they revealed several details about the hardware structure of the product, including the dual camera. As the name shows, it is going to be the successor to Blackberry KeyOne, a mid-range device from previous year that was widely appreciated for a solid design, a good camera and more (Not the price!). Along with that, the right side of the frame looks like it'll be home to an extra button along with the volume rocker and power/wake button. Lastly, those hoping for a 3.5mm headphone jack are in luck, with the connector present on the top of the smartphone. That's quite a steep price for what it packs, but then, it's the only phone from a major OEM coming with QWERTY keyboard on a smartphone. Just yesterday, a leak gave us an idea about how the handset will look like.
On additional notes, the BlackBerry KEY2 ships with Android 8.1 Oreo straight out of the box and boasts a large 3,500mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0.
