The phone is likely to be priced around Rs. 35,000, which will be slightly more expensive when compared to the introductory price of the OnePlus 5T. Much like the OnePlus 5T, which was introduced barely five months after the launch of its predecessor, the upgrade comes within a similar time frame. In fact, there were even leaks about the phone.

In India, the OnePlus 6 pop-ups will take place between 3:30PM-8PM on 21st May, and between 11AM-7PM on 22nd May.

The advantages of glass over metal are manifold.

OnePlus had earlier revealed that its engineers settled on the right kind of glass after going through 70 iterations.

OnePlus 6 is also expected to come with the water-resistant feature, but we are not sure if it will come with IP67 or IP68 certification. The company posted a teaser image on Weibo which showed Snapdragon 845 processor as well as teased about 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The 6GB Ram variant will come with 64GB and 128GB storage options, while the 8GB version will have 256GB of internal storage.

OnePlus Founder and CEO Pete Lau has shared the camera samples of its upcoming smartphone OnePlus 6 on social media forum just ahead of the launch of the phone. OnePlus 6 will sport a 6-inch edge-to-edge display with a notch that is slated to deliver the best-in-class multimedia experience. Followed by an worldwide unveiling in London, the phone would be launched in India on May 17 and go on sale starting May 21, exclusively on Amazon India.

OnePlus has been working hard towards building hype around the OnePlus 6 smartphone for the past few months.

- The OnePlus 6 is going to be a high-end phone. Created around the "Never Settle" mantra, OnePlus creates exquisitely designed devices with premium build quality and high-performance hardware.

- While this is not confirmed, the OnePlus 6 will get some sort of protection against water and dust in its design.

The leaked information regarding the camera suggests that the model comprises a 20 Mega Pixel camera on the rear end whereas 16 Mega Pixel Camera is designed at the front end to let the users take the benefits of awesome selfies.

The smartphone will be pre-loaded with Android Oreo but you can expect an update to Android by the end of December 2018.
